Landscapes 2015- present

I like to escape to no cell zone areas and watch the clouds move across the mountains and the prairies. Since 2015, I have explored landscape painting through Plein Air experiences and with photographs taken during these excursions, to reference in my studio when it is too chilly to venture out. Inspired by a myriad of photos I've captured during my travels across the stunning Western region of Canada, I hope to expressively capture these moments in nature. Within the embrace of nature is where my creative instincts are ignited, allowing me to encapsulate fleeting moments.

Working out of my mobile studio, in my trusty 2013 Dodge Journey, I paint and draw rich tapestries of scenes that range from majestic mountains to expansive skies, all adorned with the raw, unbridled beauty I have been fortunate to witness. I strive to capture my profound sense of admiration and reverence for the natural world that surrounds us.
